Do I need an appointment?
Not to get a price. The quote above is instant and costs nothing. Book a visit only once you have seen the number and want to go ahead.
How is the price worked out?
Weight in grams, multiplied by the day’s spot rate for that purity, multiplied by our published percentage — 98% for 24K, 96% for 22K, 95% for 999 silver. No deduction for the piece being old or damaged. You can check the arithmetic yourself against the live rate.
Am I obliged to sell once I have a quote?
No. The valuation is free and there is no obligation at any point, including after we have weighed and tested the item in front of you.
What if I do not know whether it is real gold?
Bring it. We test purity with certified equipment and tell you what it is. If it turns out not to be gold, you have lost nothing but the visit.
Will anyone else be there while my items are valued?
No. Valuations are done one customer at a time. Selling gold is often a private matter and we treat it as one.
How quickly am I paid?
On the day, once you accept the offer — by bank transfer, UPI, or store credit if you would rather put it towards something else.
